Features

Architecture across four domains

A single repository for every artifact, from strategy through systems, with full cross-domain traceability.

Business Architecture

Strategy, goals and key metrics, capability maps, process models, and investment tracking.

Application Architecture

Portfolio management, TIME rationalization, lifecycle roadmaps, and application-to-capability mapping.

Data Architecture

Governance, ownership and quality, data flow modeling, and logical data definitions.

Infrastructure Architecture

Resources and costs, system integrations, security posture, and compliance requirements.

Built-in operational modules

SIMEA isn’t just an EA repository: project delivery and IT support workflows live in the same workspace.

Project Management

Run project delivery in the same workspace as your architecture, with the same users and access controls.

  • Schedule items, milestones, and baselines
  • Risks, stakeholders, and document references
  • Time entries and task assignments
  • Automatic due-date notifications

Ticket Management

Service-desk workflows on the same artifacts your architects already document.

  • SLA policies with automatic response & resolution tracking
  • Ticket routing rules and group assignment
  • Email-to-ticket via IMAP with reply threading
  • Knowledge base articles and public/private replies

Built-in cross-domain views

Stop assembling architecture insight in spreadsheets; SIMEA renders it directly from your artifacts.

Architecture Roadmap

Phased changes across applications, data, and infrastructure with budget and progress.

Impact Analysis

Trace dependencies and see what a proposed change touches before you commit to it.

Capability Heat Map

See business value, strategic importance, and risk for every capability and application.

Rationalization Matrix

Tolerate, Invest, Migrate, or Eliminate every application against business value.

Security & Compliance

Track compliance requirements against the systems that satisfy them.

Frequently asked questions

SIMEA is a cloud platform from SimpleShift Technology for enterprise architecture. Your organization records its Business, Application, Data and Technology architecture as 22 artifact types, links them across domains and reports on them. Project management and IT ticket management run in the same workspace, on the same data.

Enterprise architects, CIOs and IT leaders, application portfolio and project managers, and IT service desk teams who want one shared record instead of separate spreadsheets, diagrams and tools. Executives can get read-only access to the architecture, the executive dashboard and the EA reports.

Business: capability map, value stream map, business process model, organization model, business outcome statement, capability-to-application mapping and architecture decision records (with review and sign-off). Application: portfolio catalog, landscape map, communication diagram, solution architecture diagram, lifecycle roadmap and application-to-technology mapping. Data: data entity catalog, data flow diagram and master data registry. Technology: infrastructure topology, platform stack, technology standards catalog, technology roadmap, technology-to-vendor mapping and security architecture model. Every artifact keeps a field-level change history that can be compared and restored.

Artifacts reference each other, for example a capability to the applications that support it, an application to the technology it runs on, or a decision to the artifacts it governs. SIMEA indexes these links, so each artifact shows a relationship diagram, and Impact Analysis follows them outward to show everything that depends on an artifact before you change or retire it. An artifact that other records require cannot be deleted from under them.

An executive dashboard and 14 EA reports, including strategic alignment, application portfolio, architecture roadmap, cross-domain impact analysis, technology standards compliance, business value heat map, integration landscape, service dependency map, application rationalization and portfolio cost. Cross-domain search covers every artifact type and the knowledge base, and a compliance report summarizes audit activity for a chosen period.

Projects: schedules with task dependencies, milestones and baselines, risks, stakeholders, goals, documents and a template library, time entries, workload and a portfolio view, with due-date reminders. Tickets: SLA policies with 24x7 or business-hours calendars and escalation, routing rules and user groups, email-to-ticket over IMAP with reply threading, a knowledge base, a ticket dashboard, and portal links that let requesters follow, reply to and rate their tickets.

Yes. Every artifact type imports and exports CSV (UTF-8, so it opens cleanly in Excel), and an import that would duplicate an existing record is refused. Project schedules, risks and stakeholders and the compliance report also export to CSV. The application rationalization and portfolio cost reports download as PDF.

Your organization's Admin manages users in Settings. Besides Admin there are EATeam (edits all architecture), ExecTeam (read-only architecture and executive dashboard) and separate view and edit roles for Business, Application, Data, Infrastructure, Projects and Tickets, so people see only the areas they need. External users, such as contractors or customers, see only the projects and tickets they are given, and their access can be set to expire.

SIMEA Cloud includes every module: $35,000 JMD per month. Each plan covers up to 50 users and 10 GB of file storage. You pay by card through WiPay when you sign up on this site, and your Admin renews or changes plan from the subscription page in SIMEA; receipts are emailed. If a payment is received but cannot be applied automatically, our team is alerted and you are emailed, so you never need to pay twice.

Free trials are offered from time to time; while one is running, the Pricing section shows it. Administrators get reminder emails before a trial or subscription ends; after that the workspace stays closed until an Admin subscribes, and your data is kept.

Each organization is a separate tenant: every record belongs to one organization and every query is filtered to the signed-in user's organization. Users can turn on two-factor authentication with an authenticator app, accounts lock after 5 failed sign-in attempts, sessions end after 60 minutes of inactivity and all traffic uses HTTPS. An audit log records sign-ins, refused access and user actions, and stored email server passwords are encrypted.
